I have had a major catastrophe lately with my skin, it has been spot prone, lack lusture and super oily. This was mainly due to my diet of… nothing and not drinking enough. I’m so lucky that my mum actually works at Boots so she sent me to the No7 counter in my local store. The women there was so helpful at telling me what was wrong with my skin, my current skincare and what I needed to do to revitalise my skin.
My hair is super temperamental, I can’t wash it, blow dry and leave it. There is no such thing as a ‘quick’ shower for me as my hair care during and after washing takes time and effort. I can’t pull off the loose afro look i’m afraid. So I have been trying to come up with the perfection combination for my hair – by no means do I think I have found it but this combination seems to have completely saved my hair from the brink of death.
If you have read my post about the 5 things i need to start doing, you will know that i need to start taking better care of my hair. It is in a terrible condition and my aim for this year is to get it to the length and condition i want. If you haven’t read my post, you can read it here
After continuous research i settled on purchasing the TRESemme deep treatment masque due to the fact that it was affordable and by a brand that i have tried and loved before. I looked into overnight hair masques first however was advised against it due to the fact that the 3-5 minute ones give you the same result as your hair is like a sponge, and can only absorb a certain amount of product therefore the overnight one would be a somewhat waste or at least no more for your hair than the 3-5 minute ones. To be honest, my hair is the bane of my life and washing and blowdrying it is an absolute chore, so having something 3-5 minutes instead of overnight is perfect.
