I NEED A BREAK – Lush Comforter Bubble Bar + Dashing Santa

As your all know, I’m currently revising for my exams at the end of the month.. countdown… 3 days to go – therefore I should be revising. As the title suggest, I just needed a break, I need to clear my mind in order to fill it back up again. Lush products will never fail to relax me, therefore will show and review two products that I received for christmas.

The Comforter Bubble Bar – JUST LOOK AT IT.. this just screams excitement to me. It is a huge product so I broke it into quarters and crumbled one of them under running hot water, instantly there appeared bubbles and coloured the water pink also with a gorgeous smell.

Who doesn’t love bubbles in their bath…  ahhhhh.

I went a bit overboard and treated myself to a bath bomb as well.

*TIP* – if you are adding both a bubble bar and a bath bomb make sure you let the bubbles develop first and then only add a bit of a bath bomb otherwise the bubbles will disappear.

The bath bomb I used was my Dashing Santa that I got for Secret Santa (Look at post here) It is the nicest smelling bath bomb to date and it is just so cute, it actually looks like he is running!

I only added his legs into the bath to avoid loss of bubbles, so I kind of stopped him from running. Sorry Santa!

It’s simple, but was so relaxing.

I also read ‘Sharp Objects – by Gillian Flynn’ also! It is annoying me that I haven’t finished this book yet as I have to try and find time around revision to read it. I can’t wait to get back into my crazy reading routine.

What is everyone else’s favourite Lush products?

Any tips on how to say stress free around revision time?

Lauren.

  1. I adore the Brightside bubble bar (the orange version of the comforter). Super citrusy but also really calming since its not a ‘sharp’ citrus scent. Also i was really disappointed by Sharp Objects! I much prefered Dark Places.

  4. Hi Lauren,

When I was at university, I studied for 2 hours at a time, then had a break for an hour by either reading, watching TV etc.

Best advice I can give you is reward yourself throughout your revision, that way you’ll be motivated to do it and look forward to your reward.

    Hope it helps Sarah

  5. Best way to get through revision is to reward yourself with something once you’ve completed say an hour or two of studying.

Will motivate you and also will help you relax

    Hope this helps, Sarah
